Vgo Live is dedicated to fostering a platform environment that is secure, inclusive, and respectful. This policy
unequivocally prohibits fraud and bullying, and provides users with clear guidelines and support mechanisms.
Compliance with the following terms is mandatory for all users, with any violations subject to rigorous review
and appropriate action.
1. Definition and Prohibition of Fraudulent Behavior
Fraudulent behavior undermines platform security and user trust, encompassing but not limited to:
1.1 Prohibited Fraudulent Activities
- Impersonation: Registering, live streaming, or interacting by posing as another person or providing false
information.
- False Propaganda: Misleading users into participating in non-existent products, services, activities, or
rewards.
- Scams: Utilizing false information to obtain money, gifts, or personal sensitive information from users.
- Data Manipulation: Manipulating content exposure or rankings through artificial means such as false likes
and comments.
- Abuse of Reward Mechanisms: Exploiting loopholes or improper means to gain platform rewards.
1.2 Reporting and Consequences
Users may submit evidence of fraudulent behavior via the in-app reporting tool. Upon confirmation, the offending
account will be suspended or permanently deactivated, and appropriate legal action may be taken in collaboration
with law enforcement agencies.
2. Anti-Bullying Policy
Bullying significantly impacts users' mental health and interactive experiences. We prohibit all forms of
bullying and harassment.
2.1 Prohibited Bullying Behaviors
- Malicious Verbal Attacks: Using insulting and derogatory language intended to humiliate or harm others.
- Malicious Harassment: Repeatedly sending unsolicited private messages, comments, or targeted attacks.
- Hate Speech: Posting negative attacks or inciting hatred based on characteristics such as age, race, gender,
religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or health status.
- Public Humiliation: Publicly sharing sensitive information of others or mocking and insulting specific
individuals through content.
- Organizing Group Attacks: Inciting other users to collectively abuse or interfere with specific targets.
- Blackmail and Threats: Using explicit or implicit threats intended to cause psychological, economic, or
physical harm to others.
2.2 Specific Examples of Violations
- Using sexualized or racially discriminatory language to attack anchors in comments.
- Deliberately mimicking the nickname, avatar, or profile of the target user.
- Publicly mocking a user's body, appearance, or other personal characteristics in a live stream or comment.
- Inciting others to flood the target user's live stream with insults.
- Threatening to release a user's private information, such as a home address or phone number.
3. Prevention of Hate Speech
We do not tolerate any form of hate speech, which includes but is not limited to:
- Promoting violence, devaluing a human group, or spreading harmful stereotypes.
- Denying or distorting major historical events, such as the Holocaust.
- Openly mocking or defaming victims of hate crimes.
Permitted Exceptions:
- Discussing hate speech in an educational or documentary context, while avoiding offensive language.
- When the user's language is clearly self-referential and non-malicious.
4. Community Safety Terms
4.1 Privacy Protection
Sharing the following information without explicit consent is prohibited:
- Personal sensitive information, such as address, phone number, or email.
- Content of private conversations or unauthorized images or videos.
- Unauthorized explicit photos of others or false deepfake content.
4.2 Misuse of Reporting Mechanism
Malicious use of the reporting function, such as falsely reporting users for policy violations, is strictly
prohibited.
4.3 Online and Offline Harassment
Continuous stalking or harassment of users, both on and off the platform, is prohibited. Unauthorized live
broadcasts near the target user's location, workplace, or other private areas are also forbidden.
5. Enforcement and Reporting Mechanism
5.1 Handling Violations
Upon verification of a violation, the following measures will be taken:
- Deletion of offensive content.
- Temporary or permanent deactivation of the offending user account.
- Reporting to law enforcement agencies, depending on the severity of the case.
- Users feeling threatened by bullying or hate speech may report it directly, and such cases will be
prioritized.
5.2 Reporting Method
